Me using green shells:

That damn blue shell, made me want to throw my DS across the room

I've developped a technique to be able to kep focus on the track while looking at everyone's item on the bottom screen of my 3DS. So if anyone catch a blue shell and I'm not too far from 2nd, I back pedal immiediatly.
Despite that I still suck at Mario Kart-

Back pedaling is kind of an issue because you have to stay in first for as long as possible in order to get the gold cup

I get that it's only a few seconds but that makes all the difference

If you boom box at the right time, it will blow up the shell.
