also, with how may is literally military appreciation month + all the other smaller holidays dedicated to people who serve(d) in the armed forces, people shouldnt be whining about how veterans apparently only get one day of recognition



i remember this one image on an r/clevercomeback (or r/murderedbywords) video with someone listing all military-related holidays (which mightve equated to much more than a month???)

Real question to the "veterans only get a day but LGBQT+ gets a month" peeps, do y'all think that veterans fought in wars and risked their lives just for glory and recognition, and nothing else, or do you think that they fought to actually change their country and make a difference?
