I used to like the drowned until the trident ones kept attacking my boat while I'm fishing

I build it where I planned on building my base. Then build around it. It's in the dungeon right below where I'll put my enchantment table.

Usually making my base in a cave on a lower part of a mountain, love the hobbit hole... Mainly because i'm bad at exterior design, nobody sees that if the exterior design doesn't exist. >=3

Hehe. Well I build a mine shaft in order too get a cobblestone mine and furnace wall plus grindstone too get all the nessacary stone items for the castle.

Stone + stone brick + cracked stone brick looks great as a wall. Plus polished andisite on the corners

I don't typically make stripmines, I just go deeper into my cave base, or find one nearby. Somehow I still end up with lots of stone though... I would build with stone more often but I don't have the patience for it, and wood is just easier to get.

When I don't live in a mountain I just make a wooden base in a plains which I will soon turn into a forest, or sometimes I forcefully impose my dictatorship over a village by building a fence and a huge tower, the more imposing the better.

As in I made a stone generator for AFK mining.

I also made a nether portal I order to get a unlimited amount of lava for fuel.

Ah okay.

I can never get a nether portal because I'm a boring completionist that insists on finishing my base and doing basically everything in the overworld before I go to the nether
