Yesterday, me and a couple others users decided to post political memes to MSMG just to see the reaction of others, since there is no rule against politics. Well, one of the mods comment and post banned me for eight hours just because they "didn’t like it"

Wouldn’t that be mod abuse on their part?

I don't know about it being abuse but could be an example of "Moderating based on your preference instead of the Terms of Use and Stream Rules."
