I don’t think anyone should control the economy. A free market is the best economy. Everyone who earns money is, by definition, a “worker”. Most wealthy people earned their wealth…very, very few are born “wealthy”.

Artificial controls (i.e. government interference) stymies a nation’s economy. Price controls lead to shortages…if you can’t find a product, it doesn’t matter what the price is.
You clearly don’t know what you are talking about.
