Here's a few more similarities: Dante is immortal, plus he got shot in the head twice by Lady in the SAME SPOT and also the cutscene at the start of DMC3 where he fights the Pride Hellkeepers with the very blades they impaled him with. He heals incredibly quickly, and he's calm under pressure (which comes out in the form of so-bad-they're-good jokes and puns).
