Love, love, love the split-screen, comic-esque aspect of this one. As a huge comic nerd myself, the concept is flawlessly executed, even though the main idea isn't something typically seen in comic series, but this one-of-a-kind darling artist has managed to make it not only believable, but engaging as well. The contrast between the simplicity and comfort of the bedroom (love the wrinkles in the sheet) and the expanse of what I'm guessing to be a shopping centre proves her expertise in both simplicity and larger-scale settings, and, this is purely a guess on my end, but something tells me that the artist is very passionate about fashion and clothing because in every applicable work I've seen from her so far, she aces it beyond belief. Each character, whether original or not, has such attention paid to every detail of their outfits. Seeing as the characters here appear to be young women, it would be all too easy to outfit them in maybe plain tops and skirts or short trousers, but the artist went out of her way, again, to design such sophisticated-yet-believable getup for these two lovely ladies. Look at the gemstone details on the jeans and the jewellery on both girls! If she didn't want to be an illustrator, my second guess for her would be that she'd excel in fashion design, although seems to be a Jill-of-all-trades since my niece made a remark implying she'd be a great lawyer as well. No matter her chosen field, though, this is truly once-in-a-generation talent right here, possibly even once-in-a-lifetime.
