I repost this list a lot but I can never underestimate the importance of it.
I say favorite games as in when I played them, I was reminded of why I love this hobby so much. It has nothing to do with the genre or the era it came from. It’s about the execution of what it’s trying to do.
My least favorite games make me hate the concept of gaming itself. Far Cry 3, Minecraft Story Mode, Monkey Ball Banana Blitz. They make me want to not play video games ever again. So playing a game where you’re like “OH THAT’S WHY I LOVE GAMING SO MUCH” is one of the best things you can have.
That was a weirdly long tangent about a pointless hobby.
