In the year 1945, my great-great grandfather, serving in the army, wondered when he'd get to go home to his wife and the son he'd never seen. He got his wish when the US ended World War II by dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The World awaited Armageddon; instead, something miraculous happened. We began to use atomic energy not as a weapon, but as a nearly limitless source of power. People enjoyed luxuries once thought the realm of science fiction. Domestic robots, fusion-powered cars, portable computers. But then, in the 21st century, people awoke from the American dream. Years of consumption lead to shortages of every major resource. The entire world unravelled. Peace became a distant memory. It is now the year 2077. We stand on the brink of total war, and I am afraid. For myself, for my wife, for my infant son - because if my time in the army taught me one thing: it's that war, war never changes.

Good catches! Those were all existing imgflip templates and aren't "cropped" per se, but according to global mod interpretations of TOS, uncovered privates = porn, so censored privates = censored porn. Alright the paint one isn't intended to cause sexual arousal, so that's a bit questionable.

Yeah I have second thoughts about copying that one, but I’m genuinely surprised that the original poster isn’t acting like a crying simp like others. That’s genuinely surprising .

You know what surprises me? There are so few hard and fast rules for TOS. It's mostly subjective. How opaque do clothes need to be to count as covering private parts? It's up to the mods. Is censored porn allowed? In some cases yes. Are sex acts allowed? In some cases yes. Does a censored bar over a bikini count as censored porn? It depends on what the mod imagines is under that bar. It's Equal parts the honor system and what mood the mod is in. F**king crazy. I tried for years to get definitive clarification on the rules, and it just don't exist.

No site run by people is immune to bias. We just have to live with it.

There are 5 or 6 other definitions of pornography that specifically requires a sex act, but it's really irrelevant since the site considers exposed private parts porn even without an accompanying act.

I'll grant you this: the intent of the no pornography clause in TOS was to discourage people from posting content intended to be sexually arousing. No less than 20 streams do that, many of which have been around almost as long as the site...but they're tolerated. By rights they shouldn't be, but they are.

For my part, the only thing I see wrong with what I do is that most of the time I don't even attempt to make a joke out of my "memes". They're just an image. That shit is weak of me. I can do it and get away with it, but it is absolutely not what the site was intended for.

I'm still going to do it, but I wish the site never allowed it in the first place. And I do follow the rules as I understand them. I don't post pornography, at least not as the site owners and global mods define it.

Sorry for the rant. I'm just even more passionate about personal rights than I am about anime cheesecake. ✌️
