So there's a roster of 10 total characters: 5 on the Creator's side, 5 on Zanthor's side.
The first 5 are the Pantheon members, aligned with the Creator, being: The Collector, Inkmatas, Supernova, Awenasa, and The Traveler. I'll get back to the other side - being Zanthor's god-hunters - at the end.
Basically, there's two gameplay options.
The first is a 3-5 player game. In that version, each player picks a god or hunter to control. Either all players are gods, or all players are hunters.
Respectively, the hunters/gods become the opponents of the players. The game's bosses, if you will.
There are special tiles that represent a battlefield, where the player/s use/s cards to defeat the bosses and earn points or something like that. I haven't really gotten into the details, mostly just physical surface-level stuff.
The second option is for 6, 8, or 10 players. (Potentially 2 players, but I feel like that would necessitate its own set of rules.) The players split up into equal teams - one team gods, one team hunters. The battlefield aspect is still used but it might work a little differently.
And the whole objective is to defeat your opponents, whether that be the NPC bosses or the other team.
