I mean, it's already bootable, and you can create, write, read, and delete files

but they will go away after a reboot due to being stored in RAM

you see boot/boot.asm?

that file interacts directly with hardware and loads the kernel into memory, where kernel/core.c then runs a hardware check to load necessary drivers

after that's done, the welcome message displays and the shell starts
