(Basically theres this auction in vegas that one of the bad guy groups is setting up. Theres this super powerful rare artifact thats going to be sold but theres some very strict conditions that need to be met before it can be activated. All three groups are simultaneously trying to figure out the conditions set on the object so they can either activate themselves, or stop the activation altogether)

Would a spirit and an exorcist be ok? Basically They’re just some glorified hit men with similar powers to Hanako and Kou from TBHK. I’m trying to see who’ll fit cause this is really cool

Great! I’ll give a quick description and then well start the rp!
Haruka - a Yokai known as a Kamatachi (A Japanese Wind Spirit), he appears as an effeminate teenage boy around 16 years old with fair skin, pale blond hair, and grey-blue eyes. Basically he’s kinda like the ghost/apparition version of a shapeshifting airbender. Due to being so young, only about 1,000 or so, he was tricked by a human into basically a life of servitude in exchange for not getting exorcised
Hayato - a boy of mixed heritage, he was orphaned young and adopted by a local Japanese shrine. There he learned all about Yokai and Spirits, which ones were harmful and which were harmless, and (most importantly) how to exorcise them. He is heavily based off of Kou from TBHK (a character who come from a long line of exorcists), but I guess his powers could be summed up as “Boy uses magic staff and seals to battle ghosts/enemies”. He is human with tan skin, brownish black hair, and green eyes. Commands/owns Haruka and uses the spirit as both a companion, magic mentor, and weapon in battle if needed
Both boys work to exorcise or neutralize [the harms of] dangerous Yokai. Most of the time they try to avoid exorcising the apparitions, instead trying to work through conflict and gain allies rather than enemies. However, The same cannot be said for humans; occasionally the boys take jobs as mercenaries because, let’s be honest, they don’t get a lot of exorcism jobs on the daily (and definitely not enough to live off of).

Awesome! Real quick though before we start, do you think they'd identify with the bad guys (coming to take the artifact for themselves) the slightly less bad guys (organizing the auction in order to take it for themselves) or the good guys (trying to take the artifact so nobody uses it)

I can give you more information if you need it to make a choice

Ironically, I think they would identify somewhere between good and slightly-less-bad. Like, they’re stealing it for themselves so that no one but them can use it

Interesting, so it would make sense for them to try and infiltrate the organizers to get the edge up on them

Exactly! Since this is an artifact they’re stealing, they might not even be working for anyone this time/getting paid for this infiltration

Tomorrow is the auction that will determine every single person's fate for the rest of time, if you believe in that sort of thing.

And today, the air is sweet in Ferdinand Mendozas nose, and the wine in his mouth is better. He knows that tomorrow, his enemies will crumble before him and vengeance will be his. It fills him with joy.

The preparations are almost complete for the next few days, but certainty is key, and so he calls a meeting with his closest associates:
Dalia W., Sam Cramer, James Shefton, Haruka, and Hayato.

"My friends, we've worked long and hard to make sure that the next few days will work flawlessly, but I'd like to re-run the plan over with you all"

Alright, I'll five you info on the people on that team and we'll get started

Leader-
Ferdinand Mendoza
-hates Henry (protagonist) and Silvano (Ferdinands brother) for getting his father killed. He'd use the artifact to get rid of them and eliminate his competition
-he can control water and moisture in all its.forms

Second in command
Dalia W.
-shes related to a different character (only she knows who)
-she doesn't have a concrete identity or goal for herself besides her own vengeance, and thus always ends up following others and embracing her ideals
-this is reflected in her ability to create an ability that is a direct Inverse to her opponents

Brawler
Sam Cramer
-The quiet type, dislikes expressing himself and his emotions since it makes him feel weak
-He uses a pocket watch to halt his souls "flow." The flow builds up and up until he presses the button to release it again, at which time he becomes a different beast entirely. When his flow is stopped however, he becomes as defenseless as a normal personm

-a skilled biologist/surgeon who performs incredibly unethical experiments on humans, attempting to create something that God himself would come.down to smite him for
-he has no superhuman abilities
