For a while it would just be us playing Battlefield 1 from time to time, but all I have is a Steam Deck. My Steam Deck can handle BF1 at 60 fps, but the battery life will be 2 hours if I’m lucky. Plus it’s a huge tassel to go through the EA launcher and text my friend which server I’m in. And it’s strictly multiplayer, nothing co-op about it.
Alien Swarm is PvE co-op. And we can communicate directly through Steam! Plus it has extremely low spec requirements. It’s basically the CS:GO of top-down shooters.
It also helps that Alien Swarm is entirely free and has zero microtransactions. Therefore it’s one of the very very few truly free-to-play games out there.
I highly recommend this game to play by yourself or with friends.
