Let's be real about the political spectrum - it's a circle

I've always said it were a ring. From normal, go left you get socialism, communism, totalitarianism at the 180° mark. From normal go right you get populism, nazism, totalitarianism again at the 180° mark. Commies and Nazis are just Totalitarians that don't agree on how to maintain their power.

I think my ring edition instead of a line works way better. When you go too far one way or the other in that ring, you arrive at some form of fascism.

or Communism. it's like Left to Right: Commies-Totalitarians-Fascists. All birds of a feather with different colors perhaps.

Communism isn't a bad idea in an of itself - it just can't be implemented without hive mind in effect. Example bees and ants... All work together under one goal, doing their particular parts to make it all work. Why? One directional thinking from a Queen/Master.

If we could someone make everyone connected in the mind to the end goals that need accomplished, communism would be the result of that situation.

But - since we can't Hive Mind, efforts to install are often fascist in nature. Defectors get prosecuted (which goes against do what you want that is often advertised - but never true). Rules get set - with persecution for breaking them. Resources get rationed when folks don't do their parts. Healthcare suffers due to lack of incentive to get to that level of professional work.

And my ring thing takes away the myth that only "right" wing folks can be fascists.

Even on the Political Compass, fascism is on the left-right border. Nazism isn’t far right, it’s actually closer to the left (unless you’re a leftist of course, then anything on the right is too far right)
