Ladies, Gentleman and Ichs. The results are as follows.
One post in the fun stream gives around 22 points, as well as the popularity of that post.
One given upvote or downvote gives one single point. Upvote beggars, it is practically pointless to ask for upvotes given this data.
One comment does not give any points in itself. However, one can volley a thread of comments, which I believe gives ~5 points. A comment could also gain one points through upvotes should it become popular.

I see nothing wrong with it except one thing. Upvotes give you 40 points, while downvotes....well, I don't know. But if you Upvote someone else's meme, then that gives you one point. :3

A good idea, but I used my main which had lots of activity at the time. a more controlled environment with only assistants would be much better for a more clear result. Thus I chose an ambiguous "in additionto image popularity". We could refine the experiment if youd like.

You could make alts and then use your mains to test it from there

the problem that i have is that to do so id need to set up 20 alts on this kindle bnw. just *one* account cost me my soul. there is no convenience and nothing is getting done quickly as it would be with friends.

that’s not how accounts and views work, 1 account alone (including yours) can do the 20 views just by going on the image multiple times

Based off of further testing and an alt account they concluded that commenting gives the user points but not the OP. They also confirmed that yes, upvote begging is more lucrative than we thought, as it gives 40 points. Show them some love. And to Eli, you were initially right. My appreciation goes out to these people!
