there will be a button on the side of a standard one. pressing it releases a magazine. check that all seven bullets are in. a cursory glance at the top will do. push it back in. turn the dial on the side so that the safety is off. push back the slide to rechamber the bullet. squeeze the trigger ("pulling" it is pulling it with the base section of your finger. use the crevice between the tip and the second section) when you wish to neutralize your target. if you only intended to practice basic routine checks, flick the dial back to safe.

to aim: line the prong towards the end of your gun up with the ones closest to you. when these line up and your target is within the visual area these prongs create, you will be aiming at your target.
