you know who would be great to study?
-pablo picasso (early work)
-kohei horokoshi (artist of mha, really good tbph)
get like eighty manga art and photography books and study them to a tee
heres one that helped quite a fair bit: "you will be able to draw manga by the end of this book" by laura watton. its like 20 bucks
real art equipment is unnecessary unless you do it professionally. just use a f*ckin school smart no. 2 pencil or a cheap wacom or even your phone and a digital pen.
if you want to embiggen your art get the neck muscles, the collarbone and draw your hair as individual lines for strands rather than a shape. also, try not to etch when drawing, or if you cant listen to instructions like me etch only for loose anatomy before running over your final body shape with a confident bold pencil line.
im assuming you know about anatomy because your sona shows you are versed in a reasonably consistent anatomy. but dont draw your clothes as the outline of the body. in the words of an artist youtuber... "man yall got some tight-ass f**kin latex clothes". draw your body's final shape, then lightly draft the clothes before running over your final clothes with a confident line as i said earlier.
(basically draw your body then draw what the clothes look like over it.)
when youre ready i have more art tips i subconsciously picked up from my artist friend. i think ive put enough in to make a circle jerk jealous.
