I must of missed that. The VP is designed to take over in case of a president inability to govern. Plus she gets to pick a VP to help her. If they bypass her for someone else then the Dems are in bigger trouble then they are now.

And I agree that bypassing Kamala would be more of a headache than possible this current election because of campaign finance laws.
