He also claimed he expanded NATO. But just like his claim that he increased Social Security benefits more than any other POTUS (failing to realize that everyone knows SS benefits are tied to inflation... Bidenflation) this claim is based on Sweden and Finland joining NATO in reaction to Putin invading Ukraine.
The sad reality is that due to his feckless leadership on the world stage, Putin invaded Ukraine. So I guess in that sense, yes, he's responsible for NATO expanding.
If the unthinkable happens and he somehow gets himself re-elected, I wonder what other total eff ups of his will result in others doing things that he'll try to take credit for?
