True, but I think China is just using Russia and will eventually abandon them and try to install a puppet dictator once Putin dies, I could be wrong though.

Anything could be a possibility, we just don’t know for sure what will really happen

Russia is being run by a close-knit mob of former KGB oligarchy. They're not about to become a proxy of China. Russia also has a somewhat extensively substantial buffer zone between it and China, comprising most of Asia. It's about as much threatened by China as the USA is threatened by Paraguay.
