When the shall-issue concealed carry movement started where I am, the democrats and the police chiefs ALL said there would be never-ending gun battles on every street corner, 24 hours a day.
When constitutional concealed carry came up, they ALL said the same bullshit.
It was ALL lies, of course.
Now, in my favorite breakfast restaurant, the man who comes to my table to serve my coffee openly carries a pistol on his hip. Most of us are carrying in there too. And each one of us is as safe in there as we were on our mother's lap.
Meanwhile, you guessed it: no one is safe in the blue states, where only the criminals have firearms.
