- No climbing towers to reveal more of the map
- No loading screens for entering buildings or missions
- All cutscenes are seamless and you’re always in control of your character
- You don’t have to pause the game to open the map
- Traversal that isn’t just holding the stick forward and going from point A to point B
- A small map that you can get across in under 10 minutes
- Stealth where you don’t see people through walls or lure them with rocks, so it genuinely requires strategy.
- Actually smart companions who can die if you’re not careful
- A map that’s small enough where you don’t have to fast travel everywhere
- No stealth bar, the only way you know you’re seen is with a bullet
- Outposts get taken back by enemies and don’t just stagnate (there is also a story explanation)
- No racing or fishing minigames: it’s a total warzone.
- Take on one mission at a time rather than having a huge checklist to deal with
- No pointless collectibles (except for diamonds, which is the game’s currency)
The only setbacks with this game are respawns being too fast and no autosaves.
