Plastic was invented in 1907 and in 115 years humanity has doomed the planet with its pollution, there is now 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic on earth and its estimated that 6.3 billion of that is trash. Plastic can break down into such small parts that it can enter your blood stream and even break the blood brain barrier. In fact, a study was done to test the effect of micro plastics on humans and the scientists behind the study had to end it stating they could not find a control group
