Actually that is not so much a political post per se as a comment on certain creatures closer to home that wield corrupt power without consequence and from the shadows.
As for Tail-Gunner Joe and J. Edgar, rather than being heroes they, like the PC & "Social Justice Warrior" clowns of today did more to derail the actual issues they were pursuing by using their scattergun tactics instead of actually focusing on finding the actual enemy.
Witchhunts DON'T find witches, anymore then splashing everyone as a '-phobe' this and a '-phobe' that and tarbrushing people as "racists" is of ANY use to the real world.
Getting to the actual enemies of anything is the painstaking job of those who do NOT seek headlines, glory, or just the drug of absolute power, but built a VALID case, brick-by-solid brick..
Joe and J. Edgar had more in common with those blocking roads and occupying campuses and their fellow travellers than people want to realize.
And Yes, I AM voting for The Donald and detest communism and its admirers...
