This is the state of open world games

I think in my top ten favorite games list, only 2 are open world. I’m just not a big fan of most of them.

But I mean there are other good games out there that are open world other than those, like Elden ring for example

I’m playing Elden Ring right now, and while it’s a great game, I can’t get over how it has all the same elements of bland, soulless, repetitive open worlds. I still think Dark Souls was better.

If you want a really good open world, I’d recommend Far Cry 2 or Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.

Yeah my friend does think that Elden rings open world brings it down compared to the other souls games
