Why would anyone hijack someone else’s ethnicity, customs and religious practices? There are Ethiopian Jews there as well. Did they co-op the Jewish ethnicity as well? Many Jews were scattered to the four winds after the fall of Israel. Many making their way to even the new world (America) many after WW2 living in Europe. How do you know they are not authentic?
