She found his basically-dead body and took him home and nursed him back to health

"I'm... dead."

"Correct."

It was true. Eggyhead was dead. His memories before his doom were fuzzy, but began to return to him. He felt like he had just woken up from a strange dreams.

"I have so many questions." Eggy said.

"As does everyone. Do not fret. Your questions will be answered soon my friend." Death replied.

Death flipped through a book, skimming over millions of pages in an instant. Eggy knew what it was. The book of life. It contains the name of every person who will go to live in eternal paradise in heaven. Suddenly Death stopped on a page.

"Ah, here you are." Death said. "In golden ink, might I add. You were rather virtuous, weren't you?"

"Well, I WAS a paladin, and a devout Christian..." Eggy said shyly.

"That is very clear, from your outstanding record." Death replied. "You have earned this, my friend, enjoy..."

Eggys vision went white, he felt as if he was flying in every single, yet was not moving at all.

He felt his very soul inch towards Heaven, every second, he felt his sadness, his fear, his pain, all melt away, as if they never existed. Then he stopped. The light stopped moving. He heard a thundering voice speak in a language he had never heard before, yet he understood all of it.

"My child. You have been a great servant to me, through all your pain suffering. You have allowed me to use you as a great tool to spread goodness and my word."

"M-my Lord! I have waited for this moment for so long, I-"

"But it is not your time to meet Me. A glance at My face, and you could never go back. One day, long from now, you and Me will meet. Until then, you must keep going. I love you, Eggy, my child..."

It was like a tape going in reverse, suddenly everything was going backwards at incredible pace, the light began to fade, more and more, until...

There was a deafening BOOM.

Eggy slowly woke up, then everything hit him.

The battle. His sacrifice. His talk with Death, and with God Himself.

He rose and rubbed his eyes. He was in a bed, but not his. This was not his room. This was not his house.

Eggy climbed out of the bed. He looked around. He had been sleeping on a pullout couch, in a rather cozy apartment building. He was up on a higher up floor, but could clearly see the ground below. He looked closely outside. Something was off. These buildings. They were almost familiar. It felt like a dream, one of a childhood that Eggy had never lived.

He looked down. Towards the ground, where people were walking. No, not people...

Eggs. Other Eggs. A whole thriving city of them. Probably a whole planet.

Eggy stepped back in disbelief. Everything he had believed, his whole life, it was wrong. He wondered how. He saw his planet die. Was this a dream? God was known to speak to people in dreams. No. This was very real. How had he never heard of them? It was all too much for him to handle.

His panic was cut short by the smell of burning. He decided to ignore this revelation that was cracking down on his mind, and investigate.

He walked into the kitchen, and found smoke rising from some charred cookies in the oven. Eggy found some oven mitts and hastily removed them from the oven and set them on the counter.

Suddenly, a door opened and slam shut, causing Eggy to slip and bonk his head.

"Aleggs, if you're eating my damn cookies, I swear, I'm gonna-"

A tall, beautiful, and curvy Egg woman. Eggy blushed a bit upon seeing her.

"Oh! I see "sleeping beauty" is awake..." the woman said.

"W-who are you?!" Eggy said as he took a sloppy and strange kind of defensive stance.

"Ah... The name's Omeletta."

"...aaaand that's the story of how I met your mom!"

Omeletta walked over and kissed Eggy on his forehead. He blushed and smiled.

"Cooooooool!" Ove said with glee.

"Yeah, it is." Essy said as she stood and yawned. "Weeeeellll... I have plans with Data early tomorrow, so I'm headed to bed."

"I'm gonna hang with Astra tomorrow, so I think I'll join you there." Ove added.

"Okay then, but remember-" Eggy was cut off.

"Don't tell anyone about the other Eggs, we know." Ove and Essy said in unison.

"Oh, sorry..." Eggy replied.

"You're fine, dad." Essy said. "We know you just wanna be safe."

"Yeah, we didn't mean to hurt your feelings or anything." Ove added on.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." Eggy replied. "Love you guys!"

"You too, dad." Essy and Ove said as they closed the door.

"Ah, I remember the good old days, back when we first met..." Omi said as she wrapped her arms around Eggy.

"Yeah..." Eggy chuckled as he and Omi kissed.

"Love you."
"Love you too."
