Clipz: *crashes in through the roof* hi :)

Daniel: "Huh. Who are you?"
In the background the barkeep is staring in disbelief

Clipz: a bored guy

Daniel: "Well, bored guy. How can you be when the 4th succession war is so close to happening?" He looks you up and down.
"What are you, anyway? I saw a few people dressed like you were at a city convention of some sort back in 2470...you an enthusiast of the same type?"

Clipz:.. no, this is just what I look like

Daniel: "...really? Come sit down..."
He nonchalantly looks from side to side as his hand comes on his pistol.
"It's probably best you don't reveal that to people immediately. I know some trappers right in this bar who will literally do anything for a sentient alien's fur."

Clipz: I dealt with trappers, their more of a slight annoyance at best..

Daniel: "Impressive. I would best avoid a conflict in the bar, though. It's difficult enough now that we have a hole in the ceiling, this being owned by my company."

Clipz: eh, screw them..*teleports a beer towards us* want some?

Daniel: *Holds up his hand*
"I don't drink. Religious belief."
He grabs a mug beside him
"But I can drink my nice cup of root beer."

Clipz: oh, it's alright.. I usually don't drink either

"Funny that you come on the EXACT day we finally got the old aerospace fighters up and ready."

Clipz: oooo

"Yeah. It would've been easier to make new ones, but Trigger, my main pilot with no more than a kill/death of 20/0, wanted his old atmosphere fighter to become aerospace. I made it happen."

Clipz: *comes out* that's cool

Daniel: "You can if you want. I won't stop anyone from having a good drink."
He takes off his helmet.
"So...what are you here for?"

Clipz: I'm bored, and I like bars, they feel cozy

Daniel: "...Home planet?"

Clipz: ... I.. I don't have one..

Daniel: "You fight any? Battlemech, vehicular, areospace, infantry?"

Clipz: yeah, I fight. But I don't know what those are..

Daniel: "Battlemechs are mechs. I make and pilot those most often. Tanks or others are vehicles and aerospace is basically being a fighter pilot. Infantry is self-explanatory."

Clipz: oohh, now I get it. Thanks :)

Daniel: "Y'know, you don't seem to be...from this reality."

Clipz: oh, that's cuz I'm not. I travel through planes of reality sometimes

Daniel: "I mean I already did my test for that already. This confirms it. So...where do you come from?"

Clipz: I.. idk the name of it, all only things I remember is waking up, and then next thing I know, I'm eating a planet

(Clipz lore is weird)

Daniel: "I'm betting it was delicious. I'm not going to question it."

Clipz: yeah, It tastes ok

Daniel: "so...I'm going to get straight to the point."
He glances around.
"You don't have a way to get home, right?"

Clipz: oh, I do. I just don't want to.. but go on.

Daniel: "well, if you want to, I'm recruiting. If you want to join my merc company, you can still leave to whatever reality you wish. Just...let me know, alright? Training's at 10 tomorrow. Sharp."
With that, he stands up and leaves.
"It was nice meeting you, clipz. Hope to see you around."

*at 10 the next day, clipz ship comes flying down onto his doorstep*

The glare of the sun shines on Daniel's visor as he walks up to the ship. "So, you pilot areospace."

Clipz: yeh, I guess
