*she doesn't quite notice him, still taking care of the cat*

*annoyed, continues walking still bummed that he can't tan*

(this is topher. Little bit of lore, he's from a very well off family, but he likes to be down to earth and rooted in the community. He's does voluntary work a lot, but does still live in the family mansion)
*Topher walks over, having just finished work at a community kitchen*
Topher: hey shonte! How is everything? Oh and look at the lovely cat *he smiles at it, crouching down to it's level to give a little scratch*

*she sighed* "I just haven't been feeling good lately... especially after my youngest brother passed away a month ago.. he was like a son to me...." *she held back tears*

Oh... Oh my I'm so sorry
I had no idea..

*she was desperately trying not to cry* 'It's fine..."

*he hugs her gently*
I'm so sorry...

*she hugged him back, breaking down sobbing* "My baby.... he's gone.."

"you poor thing..." *Holds her tight to his chest, feeling a little upset himself* "oh I pity you so... Is there much I can do?"

"...Just stay with me, please.."

*maintaining a tight grip on her* "I can do that"

*she cried softly into his arms*

*she greeted him with a blank emotionless expression, hesitating a little* "Oh hey Topher.. Everything is fine, how about you?" *her response didn't quite seem to be truthful, something seemed off. The cat purred, enjoying the scratches*

topher: hey, something feels a little off. whayts going on?

".....Nothing.." *she hesitated once more, nervously fidgeting with her hands*

hey... you can tell me *he sits by her side*

*she gently picked up the cat, holding it close in her arms*

"Would you like to come inside..? I have some fresh cookies in the oven.."

*he nods* "of course, if you wouldn't mind"

*she nodded, opening the door for him*

*he entered cautiously*

*she carried the cat inside, pulling out a lil pet bed for it to relax on. she then washed her hands, pulling the cookies out of the oven*

*Upon seeing the cat, by the look of Mimi’s face, one would think he’s just seen the most beautiful thing ever, as also pet the cat, while mumbling “oh my goshhh.”*

*she looked up at him* "Oh hey.. what's up-?" *she appeared to show no emotion, a blank expression plastered on her face*

U: you ok?

*she looked away, avoiding eye contact. she hesitated before finally muttering,* "...Yea, I'm okay.."

*she was fidgeting with her hands nervously, not quite seeming to be telling the truth*

U: youre a terrible liar.

"..." *she looked away, too ashamed to look him in the eye*

U: *sits next to her* do you want to talk about it?

"I guess.... would you like to come inside..? I have some cookies in the oven you can have.."

U: eh, if youre offering.

*she nodded, picking up the cat and taking it inside, motioning for him to follow*

U: *follows, petting the cat* hello (Insert name of cat)

*Ryu approached, and sat down next to her.*

*she looked up at him, slightly surprised* "Oh hey.. what's up-?" *she appeared to show no emotion, a blank expression plastered on her face*

*He sighed.*

"You've been acting not like yourself lately... what's wrong?"

*she looked away, avoiding eye contact. she hesitated before finally muttering,* "Nothing..."

*she was fidgeting with her hands nervously, not quite seeming to be telling the truth*

*He sighed again and placed an arm around her.*

"You're not telling the truth. I can tell."

*she gently picked up the cat, holding it close in her arms*

"Would you like to come inside..? I have some fresh cookies in the oven.."

"Sure."

*It was at this point she noticed Silver wasn't with him.*

(Ryu has a pet wolf named Silver, who normally accompanies him everywhere)

"..where's Silver-?"

"He's staying with my sister today. It's her birthday, and she wanted to spend some time with him. They used to spend tons of time together when we were kids and he was just a little pup we had found near the woods at home, but she barely gets to see him anymore... but you don't want to hear about my past. Now, I believe you said something about cookies?"

*she nods* "Ohhh, ok ^^ come inside-" *she opened the door, carrying the cat inside*

(she loves and cares for all animals no matter what she will do anything for them)

*He gave the cat gentle scratches, which it seemed to like.*

"I see you've made a new friend here. Careful - Silver might get jealous that you've been hanging around with a cat."

*He joked.*

*she smiled, gazing into his eyes lovingly. the cat got up and walked off, going to another room*

*He smiled again and turned back to the TV.*

*she did the same, sitting in his lap and enjoying the tv show*

*He smiled as they cuddled.*

*she smiled back, gently rubbing his leg*

*After a few hours, Ryu's sister called.*

(Can you speak as his sister please?)

(sure)

Ryu's sister: "Ryu-?"

"Hey, sis. What's up? Need me to come pick up Silver?"

"Yeah- I think he misses you he seems a little sad"

"Alright. Did you two have fun?"

*she chuckled softly, pulling out a lil pet bed for the cat to rest on*

"Don't tell him-" *she joked, chuckling softly as she washed her hands and pulled the cookies out of the oven*

"I dunno... he can smell cat on anyone, so you might have to take a shower before I bring him back."

"Noted" *she smiled, putting the cookie tray on the counter to cool*

*He smiled and sat down with her again.*

"Do you mind if I put something on the TV?"

"Go ahead ^^ Anything else I can get you-?"

*she went back to showing no emotion*

*He frowned when she stopped showing emotion.*

"Seriously, what's wrong?"

*He navigated to a British show - a funny show, to lift her spirits - on the TV.*

*she sighed* "I just haven't been feeling good lately... especially after my youngest brother passed away a month ago.. he was like a son to me...." *she held back tears*

*He gave her a comforting hug.*

"I'm sorry... I didn't know... I didn't mean to pry..."

*she latched onto him, sobbing*

*He tried to comfort her. The cat came over and got in her lap, rubbing against her.*

*she smiled, leaning into him happily. she gently rubbed his chest*

*He gave Silver scratches with one hand and hugged Shonte with the other as they watched the show.*

*she smiled, gently planting soft kisses on his chest and waist*

*He smiled and continued hugging her and scratching Silver.*

"I love you too."

*He kissed her forehead and helped her into a comfortable position.*

(Also, my point-of-sale for roleplays I participate in and fanfiction I write, etc. is couples sharing a bed, but skipping the dirty stuff. I call it "cuddles over naughties," and most romance RPs I take part in eventually involve it. I wanted to see if that was okay now before I forget to later)

*she smiled, gently playing with his hair*

*He let her.*

"You're so cute..." *she smiled as Daisy nuzzled her head into Shonte's neck and falling asleep*

"You're pretty."

*she finished after awhile, handing him the food* "Here you go..."

*He smiled at the sight of some of his favorite food - steak and rice (how original, I know).*

"Thank you."

*He took the food, then walked back to the couch with her.*

"Anytime.." *she followed, sititng next to him*

*He began eating, and his face lit up in delight at how delicious it was.*

"Is it good..?"

"Delicious, in fact. You are the best cook I've ever met."

"Thanks-^^" *she picked up the cat, cuddling it while he ate*

*He finished soon and got up to put his things away, leaving her with the cat.*

*she continued cuddling with the cat, waiting for him*

*He came back soon, and sat with her.*

"Do you like cuddles?"

"Oh hey ^^"

*she smiled, hugging him happily*

*He hugged her back. Silver nuzzled against her leg. When he noticed the cat, he walked over, sniffed it, and then nuzzled against it as a sign of friendship.*

*she smiled, holding her arms out offering cuddles to Silver*

*Silver went back to Shonte and let her cuddle him.*

"Seems like he's made a new friend too."

*she smiled, gently holding Silver in her arms and giving him head scratches*

*Silver loved the attention. Ryu picked up the cat and started petting it.*

"Does our feline friend have a name yet?"

"I think I'm gonna name her Daisy.."

"That suits her."

*He petted the cat, and scratched behind her ears, which she liked.*

*she smiled, gently stroking Silver's back*

"You spoil Silver too much, you know. He might just leave me."

*He said that jokingly, not really meaning anything by it.*

*she nodded, immediately going into his arms* "Yea..."

*He smiled.*

"Feeling any better?"

"A little.." *she leaned into him a little more, nuzzling her face into his neck*

*He smiled.*

"That's good. Can I ask you a question?"

*she nods a bit* "What's up..?"

"I've never had a proper chance to ask... but if I don't say it now I'll forget, and then it'll be too late."

*He took a deep breath.*

"If I had a crush on you... what would you say to that?"

"I'd say I had a crush on you too.."

*He smiled.*

"Well... works out, because I do have a crush on you..."

*she smiled wide, moving further into his arms happilyy*

"So... you're my... girlfriend now...?"

*she smiled, holding Daisy like a little baby*

*They both looked at the cat.*

"Well, I think we can all agree that Daisy is a cute little bean as well."

"Yea she is.. i'm thinking of keeping her.."

"You should. She's cute."

*she smiled, nuzzling into him while still holding her* "Yea.... I just hope she and Silver get along okay"

"Oh, they'll be fine. I think he's taken a liking to her."

*she smiled wide, kissing him* "I'm so glad...."

"I'm glad you're mine now."

"Me too..." *she blushed, sitting in his lap happily*

*He yawned.*

"I think I'm gonna nap here, if you don't mind..."

*she chuckled, giving Silver belly scritches. it seemed that she loved Silver as if he were her own pet*

*He chuckled as well.*

"In all seriousness, though, you treat him well. I'm glad my girlfriend loves all animals as much as I do - even wolves. Lots of people try to... uh... hurt him because he's a wolf. He got animal control called on him a few times... I hate having to wait for him to be released from the pound."

"Oh no, that's awful..!" *she held Silver a little closer as if to protect him*

"Mind trading animals?"

"I don't mind at all ^^"

*He handed her Daisy and took Silver.*

*she smiled, petting Daisy. Daisy began to purr and knead Shonte's chest as she pet her*

*He smiled at the sight. He gave Shonte a kiss on the cheek.*

*she blushed, kissing him*

*He smiled. He then started to cuddle with Silver and Shonte at the same time. He turned the TV back to the British show they were watching earlier.*

*she sat in his lap wanting to be in his arms, her head resting against his chest as they watched the show*

*It was actually really funny. Even the cat seemed to like it.*

*she smiled slightly, wrapped in his arms as she watched the show*

"You hungry? I doubt cookies will do much for it, but if you want, I could order some food to be delivered here."

"I'm okay, thanks, i'm not hungry- would you like me to make you something to eat..?"

(she was known around the neighborhood to be an amazing cook)

"Sure. Do you want me to come with you and stay with you while you cook?"

"Yes please..."

*He smiled and got up, following her to the kitchen. He felt his crush on her getting the better of him, but figured now wouldn't be the best time to tell her.*

*she washed her hands, getting started*

*He stayed with her, providing comfort when she needed it.*

*she smiled* "If you want me to be ^^"

"I would like that..."

*she smiled, her face getting closer and closer to his*

*He gave her a gentle kiss.*

*she blushed, holding the kiss happily*

*He smiled.*

*she smiled back, gently rubbing his back as they kissed*

*He pulled back after a while.*

"I'll be here for you, okay?"

*she blushed a bit* "Thanks..."

*she leaned into him, kissing his chest happily*

"Of course, any time."

"Yeah we did!"

"Good. Hope you jad a happy birthday, sis. I'll be right over."

"Alright thanks! See you soon!"

*He hung up and turned to Shonte.*

"I'm gonna go pick up Silver, but I'll be right back, okay? I'll even bring Silver. Don't worry about the cat - if he smells it on me, he'll be friendly towards it."

*she nodded* "Ok see you soon-"

*she got off him, kissing his head*

*He kissed her cheek back.*

"Love you. Be back soon."

"Okay ^^ Love you tooo <3"

*she smiled softly*

*He went out and ran back to his house (which was only a few houses down from Shonte's, actually), got in his car, and drove to his sister's house, several miles away. He picked up Silver, then circled back around and drove back to Shonte's house.*

*she was in her room, waiting for him*

*He entered and called for her.*

"Shonte! I'm back!"

"Me tooo..." *she leaned into his arms, still holding Daisy*

"Love you..."

*He fell asleep to the sound of the TV, hugging Shonte and Silver.*

*she fell asleep in his arms soon after, Daisy left to go sleep by the windowsill*

*He cuddled with her as Silver went to go sleep with Daisy.*

(THATS SO CUTE AWW)

-after awhile, Shonte woke up in a cold sweat, scared. she began to hyperventilate, descending into a panic attack*

*He slowly stirred, but when he saw her state, he woke up instantly. He whistled for Silver to come over to help comfort and calm her, and Daisy followed.*

*she buried into Ryu, struggling to calm down. her body was shaking*

*Silver, nuzzled against her, and Daisy sat in her lap, meowing and rubbing her head against her. Ryu hugged her.*

(yea go ahead)

"Thanks hon ^^" *she gave Daisy a kiss on the head, smiling as she gently watched her sleep*

"If you want I have some treats for Silver in the kitchen ^^ Would you like me to get them-?"

"Nah, I don't want to wake Daisy. I'll get them."

*He carefully stood up, so as to not knock Shonte over.*

"Where are they?"

"In the bottom cabinet on the left-"

*He smiled and kissed her cheek.*

"Thanks."

*He went to retrieve the treats. Silver nuzzled against Shonte's arm, seeking attention.*

*she smiled wide, holding Daisy in one arm and giving Silver belly rubs with the other*

*Silver enjoyed the belly rubs. Soon, Ryu came back with treats in hand. Silver looked up, his tail swaying happily when he saw them.*

*she smiled at Silver, happily cuddling him* "Who are those treats for Silver-? Are those for you buddy?"

*Silver made happy noises as his tail wagged faster. Ryu came over and poured a few treats into his hands from the bag, and held them out for Silver, who gobbled them up happily.*

*she smiled excitedly, watching him eat* "Awwwww.... i love silver he is the cutest lil bean ever omg-"

"Hard to believe he's a wolf, isn't it? He's just a big hairy dog, aren't you, boy?"

*He gave Silver scratches, which he loved.*

*as she cried, she would tug on her sleeves trying to hide her arms*

*He noticed, but didn't pry. He just continued to try and calm her down.*

*she cried, muttering* "my baby... he's gone...."

"Shh... I know... but where he's gone... there is not sadness... imagine what it'll be like when you get there, and reunite with him..."

*she began to calm down, burying her face in his chest and latching onto him tight*

*When she did that, he caught a glimpse of her arm uncovered.*

*there were laceration scars, fresh ones on her arm*

*He stifled his surprise and looked away from her arm. That was a question for another time. He pretended not to notice and just kept comforting her.*

"How about we watch a funny show to cheer you up?"

*she nodded a bit, not wanting to leave his arms*

*He smiled and helped her sit up, turning on the British show he had found earlier.*
