I agree with what you're saying, but I don't think using the relationship between The Joker and Harley Quinn is the best way to illustrate the point you're trying to make. I don't think The Joker really cares about Harley Quinn. If I was making this, I would try to find a less toxic relationship.
You are right about your comment. I used these two popular characters, almost clichés already 😁 Me and her, who this meme was dedicated to, are both suicide squad and Batman Dark Knight fans. This is why I used these two characters on purpose
