Well mods can increase the spawn rates for pink sheep

Now why would someone dye a random sheep pink and not use it for wool? It's much more useful to dye one closer to a village or base where you can keep it for more. Do you really think someone would just waste pink dye when it, if I remember correctly, has a bit of a tricky crafting recipe?
