Yeah, there was clearly some misunderstanding
The original image was my announcement template and just said “*hug*” so when Eclipse commented, I as a joke looked up synonyms for hug and replied to his comment with “*nuzzles*” and just went along with the bit. Apparently that’s considered weird to some people.

Beyond the eclipse situation (which was harassment btw. Joke or no joke. If someone says help or asks what you are doing, you stop. They don't want cuddles.), you're making the LGBTQ look worse in msmg which already has “a few” homophobes. It’d be great if we didn't give them more reasons to dislike the lgbtq. Our streams (lgbtq and msmg) have a rocky history which was getting better. We were pretty much enemies in the past but now there's some overlap between users and it was getting better… Respectfully, they are there for shit posts, not cuddles and kisses. And I can see from comments that you are annoying them over there.

2nd not everyone is your bestie. We all want to make friends, sure, but it's something that has to be earned. Let friendship happen organically. Don't force it. 3rd, you don't need to critique memes (skibidi toilet “ain’t a pride flag” Yea no shit! I don't need you to come in here and inform me of that. It's a meme making fun of it.) 4th, I legit had a nightmare about you. That's how much you're affecting me and I hate it… I fricking hate it…

I wasn’t aware the Eclipse situation was harassment since he never asked for it to stop. If he had, I would have. That image posted to LGBTQ was out of context and that comment chain was from MSMG. And I’m sorry if I’m giving them a reason to hate LGBTQ, I’m just trying to be cute and have fun.

As for calling everyone bestie, that’s just how I talk IRL. I call everyone bestie. I’m sorry if that irritates you but that’s just how I talk. I’ll try to stop.

I don’t feel like a really “critique memes” very often, aside from that one post. I didn’t intend for it to be read as “That ain’t a pride flag wtf is wrong with you!?!?” I wanted it to be read as “tehe, that’s not a pride flag, silly.”

Nah it ain't harassment

I saw the original conversation. I was linked to it. I'm aware of the context and still think it's harassment. It is harassment for repeated unwanted touch, or in your case, cuddles. When it got to the kiss, it can then be considered sexual harassment/assault. Even though it's text, roleplaying actions can still be considered harassment. An absence of a no or stop doesn't mean you have consent. There is not anything that shows from their comments that your want for cuddles was accepted from the other person. “Help what are you doing?” is a clear sign for you to stop. Someone who has consented is not going to say “help”.

You were supposed to get a 48hr ban originally which got dropped to 24hrs after more context was given. The 24hrs either didn't get entered right or another mod got rid of it or the ban system glitched because here you are. I raised my concern last night when I saw you only had an hour left (I was going in to ban a foot fetish account and a Jeffery alt) but the other mod told me to just leave it. So congrats on escaping punishment…

I'm not the only one who feels like you critiqued or insulted their memes recently. As I'm leaving the others out of it, as to not out them, I only gave an example of mine. I was told by another mod it could encourage less people to make memes and I agree with that based on my experience and what I’ve been told. A lot goes on behind the scenes, we (the mods) get told a lot of things in private, and if no one else wants to publicly come forward about it, that's ok.

The bestie thing, as far as I know, annoys me and one other person here. My having a nightmare about you is my own issue but thank you nonetheless. Also thank you for being open to what I have told you here. Hopefully, things will be better from here on.

Bbee I don't really have any issues with you. You're a chill user, one of our regulars and you don't cause any trouble. You also ask interesting questions and bring us interesting topics to talk about like what school is like in Australia vs the USA and when people first starting swearing. It really brings people together and I like reading the stories people share because of it. :)

My only issue is it can be mildly annoying when I get posts in the queue about how there are too many templates/too many people complaining and not enough memes. You're not the only one who thinks so though nor the only one who makes posts like that, but I can't really think of who else makes posts about that off the top of my head. The majority of posts like that come from people who aren't stream regulars and some of them don't even follow the lgbtq stream. It's always a gamble if we should accept posts like this. While is encouraged to vent frustrations/concerns and it's ok to have a different opinion, it could stop people from posting about something they might need help with if they see posts like that because they don't want to trouble/annoy others. Beyond that, we're 100% good.

You and a few other users are the main reason I decided to make more memes here lately (because you guys do kinda have a point. We could use more lgbtq memes here…) and since last week I’ve started looking into Australian news to try to be more inclusive when it comes to the lgbtq news. There are not many Australians here, so me specifically doing that should say something. However, there is not a lot that seems to happen in Australia lgbtq news-wise, so I’m sorry there's not as much Aussie representation. Maybe I’m just not looking into the right new sites, idk... Maybe you could give me a suggestion on where to look.

Overall, I think you're great, you bring a lot to the stream, and I’m glad you're here. :)
