I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it can be hard to lose someone you love. I don't know what losing a friend is like, but I know it's a hard time. If I could let you see and hear him, I would do everything I can to let you do that. I hope his family misses him. From what you say, he was a great friend and I hope he rests in peace knowing you care for him. And one day, you'll see him again. I wish I could hug you.

I'm so sorry. I know this is like a month later, but I also recently lost someone near the end of June. We weren't very close, but their passing hurt a lot.
You've probably already gotten over it a little, but still, I hope you'll feel better <3
