Please listen to this message, it is very importiant that you always put aside at least 30 min of cuddle time with your cat EVERY SINGLE DAY. It may not seem like it sometimes, but cats need all of the love and affection you can give them. If he has boundries respect them, but something as little as sitting next to him can do a lot.
