It get's really good around Part 3 when the power system gets actually interesting compared to other animes. But the first 2 are also sort of necessary for plot.

Part 1 and Part 2 can be watched for free on ROKU. You can either buy DVDs for Parts 1-5 on Amazon or some other places, or you can get them on Crunchyroll or something. Part 6 however is only available on Netflix for some reason, Part 7 and Part 8 are still manga yet to be animated, and Part 9 is still being written.

Personally, I've never watched Part 3 and after on TV before since I never bought em. Only Parts 1 and 2, but from how much of the show I've seen on YT I know pretty much everything about parts 1-5 and a little about part 6
