and I fortunately did not . I learned about governments using soldiers as cannon fodder , walking meat bags from Vietnam and WW2 vets . I chose not to serve under the command of ungodly and dishonorable men.

Well, the president is the commander in chief. AND that is his primary role, not the economy, not health, employment, and definitely not education. Those are state governor roles/responsabilities with city mayors support, and the president can assist them if they are in need. People have wrong perception of what the president should do. So if there is a corrupt president, that crap goes all the way down like an avalanche in the arm forces.
