"True Dark".

True Dark is the full extent of Pit's dark self, yet True Dark,(or just simply known as "Chaos" by Hades,) is a complete cryptic sadistic psycho. Chaos is nothing but a shadow sillohette of Pit, the only things visible being the wings, eyes, sadistic smile and growing horns. His body consists of nothing but black shadows that look like pitch-black flames, besides his eyes/horns, the color of flames and his teeth a peircing white.

Palutena often refers Chaos as "Pitthree", or the Angel of Death, since Chaos is a true fallen, who works for Hades and helps him with his mission to destroy Skyworld, and the other 2 Pits. Even though Chaos is extremely sadistic and cryptic, he's adapted to Hade's sense of humor, developing his own twisted dark humor.

Chaos creates items from the shadows, such as the Bostaff, Palutena's Bow, etc. While they're not the real ones, they still pack an extreme punch. Despite this though, the items Chaos creates don't last forever; they can be destroyed, but he can always re-create them, as many times as he wishes. Chaos can completely fly on his own, and can, in fact, unlike regular Pit, can read.

But one thing never changed- His absolute love for Hotspring.

Chaos can posses people, but it's obvious when he does, since the person he possesses gets pitch-black eyes. Chaos often targets Dark Pit for this since he's the anti-hero of the 2 Pits. Palutena always knows when this happens though, so Pit gets on the case right away. Sometimes he needs Magnus' help to defeat Dark Pit while he's being controlled by Chaos. (Magnus is the strongest human in the Kid Icarus universe, and Pit's first encounter with him is when he finds Magnus slaying some of Hades' army on his own.)

Chaos is completely oblivious to love. He's never been exposed to it, never heard of it or felt it before. So if you dare even think of flirting to this cryptic sadistic psycho, he won't get it, but he'll take that as weakness and try to either possess you, or manipulate you. More often than not he'll just attack you so you'd f**k off so he can continue with his mission.

The only time the 3 Pits have EVER been in the same place as once(without attacking one another..) is in Hotspring. Chaos absolutely loves the water and finds it soothing to him, as it releases his urges to cause mischeif. The water not just only soothes him though, it makes him open up a bit, so both the Pits learn about him some more. However when this happen he flees so they don't find out too much about him, especially his relation with Hades, and their plans.

The most regular and Dark Pit know, is simply that their goal is to destroy Skyworld.
