And if you want an answer to the meme, in capitalism we use greed for the good : you make good shit ? Here's money. In communism we works equally as a group: we did great? Rise for everyone. Only problem is that humanity is hella selfish and couldn't care less about an entire f**king country, so it just collapse on greed.

Hell, money in the M-A was barely developed.
But still, people were worried about them and their close peers, and nothing else.
So you need a small, really patriotic country to make things works in communism.

Also, good point about capitalism, but you need to contribute first to have your reward. Greed is always rewarding cause you get more in any case, but here we put a carrot on a stick to motivate people to do things.
Which yeah, exploiting greed is a risky solution, and not the best one, but nonetheless it works.

With today's humanity you have NO CHANCES of getting rid of nationalism, so not simple.

But I get your point, so let's imagine it was simple and doable.
Well we encounter the same problem : human psychology.
We are not in the movie "La planete verte", humans simply cannot handle a community as big as earth. They won't be able to unite like you believe they could because the string someone can attach too is limited.

Don't forget that since there's no other motivator than "working together" there will be people that will refuse to cooperate anyway, and start their own thing.

And then... we're back to countries.

So what would be the motivator to avoid that ?
