You don't need to wait for Chess 2. What you need to do is come up with a better form of chess yourself. Here's my idea. Take 5 chess boards and arrange them to make a plus symbol. Then at each end of the plus, set up chess pieces in their standard arrangement but with four different colors of chess pieces. Then one person can play chess with three other people.

That sounds wild.
