This True Story Has a Happy Outcome

This True Story Has a Happy Outcome | RESPECT
For The Elderly; A woman's 911 call reported her 81 y/o mother

missing. The mother had left her house to take

her daily walk up & down the driveway but

didn’t return. It was scary because she has

dementia. Officers & a K-9 partner responded

and searched the heavily wooded area. After 40 minutes, the woman was found. She

was confused & asked if the officers were out

taking a walk, too. They replied, "Yes", and

she was relieved & said she had lost her way. “No problem,” said Officer Morrison who then

gently took her hand, and along with the other

officers, walked her back home & made small

talk to make her feel at ease. When asked what the key to a long, healthy

life was, she said, “Eat good and stay active.”; Officers encounter good & bad situations every

day. In this case, a frightening situation had a

happy ending for the grateful family. For

Charles County Sheriff's Office, it represents

the rewarding part of policing. | image tagged in respect,we need more of it,elderly, old age, police, wholesome content | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
