That's the thing - behind the ridiculous caricatures you guys create, he's very much an establishment politician and thinks things can and should be done through official channels.
It would be pretty funny if he pressured the NY Governor to pardon Trump between now and 7/11 because Felon One would very likely accept it along with its admission of guilt to avoid accountability yet again.
