Two things, number one, If you think Evangelion is more sad than metropolis you have probably never even seen the movie before. number two, Evangelion and JJBA are not even all that sad.(I have no idea what the rest of the anime you listed is.)

I might have heard of berserk before but i personally have never seen it before. But whenever it comes to AOT i would be most grateful if you were to give me the non abriviated version of it. (I know I probably spelt that wrong.)
