no paradox. it's important to understand sin to avoid the devil's traps, and how to get out of one. conversion... not sure why you put that in there, when you spread the gospel (non-believers get left behind on this earth, Christians go to heaven) it makes people want to be Christian so they don't go to hell. if you love someone you don't want to see them in eternal agony, you want to see them in heaven. thus, you and that person convert and get baptized and walk in the way of God and go to heaven. conversion is pretty much just saving someone's life
