I work for myself and when my friends store is busy I'll work for him for a couple hours too.
Now here's the question: What keeps me working THAT many hours as opposed to half?
Well thats quite simple:
Taxed for working, taxed for driving, taxed for fuelling, taxed for buying, taxed for selling, taxed for importing, taxed for housing, licences, regulation, permits and the government tanking the economy and inflating the currency..

I don't really see a capitalism issue here, but I do see a communism one

We always hear "that's not real capitalism" and "that's not real communism". But the only difference is whether the state charges you for land or private parties charge you for land.

The only correct economic system is to tax ONLY land. That's the only we can be tax-free and have equal economic opportunity (equal access to land). Left vs. Right politics is a trap. The rich want to keep labor cheap so they can get their lawns mowed and the limos waxed (among other things).

The entire system is designed to get you deep into debt and keep you paying on that debt until you die...

There's a solution though. All we need is for enough people to know about it at the same time. That's why basic economics isn't taught in elementary school.

How? By what mechanism? What can a communist government do to allow us all equal access to land? Doesn't a communist government decide how to allocate everything?
