Most diversity hires usually can't understand what's happening, or aren't willing to put forth the effort to learn. After all, race and/or gender landed them their sinecure, so isn't that good enough?
These diversity hire types really need to grow thicker skin. But then again . . . doors were artificially opened for them that were firmly shut for mere meritocracy risers, and so they never HAD to be tough.
