The Problem Is

So, you're just going to keep complaining. I see how it is. You won't stop making fun of people until you know that you've "won" on a stupid little argument about whether it's football or soccer. Face the facts. Face. The. TRUE. Facts.

Kapanuckle ... now, now ... let's keep it sweet, ok? I was teasing you, that's all. My point is simply this ... the game has been legitimately called BOTH soccer AND football in BOTH Europe AND North America for almost a century. One should NOT say that the "proper" name is football. Soccer is equally valid. In Italy, for example, it's called "Calcio" meaning to kick. It's all perfectly proper. Insisting that "football" is it's only true name is incorrect. And I KNOW you know that ... that's why I'm just teasing. Ok? Pace (that's Italian for "peace"). :)

I know that technically there is no proper name, but all I was saying was that it was originally called football or rugby football (which is what you said) or something like that. Like I said, I try not to start fights. I'm a peacemaker (sometimes). I just thought that it was a douchebag thing to make fun of people for calling it football. I am sorry for starting anything. I don't want to be a douchebag. I don't want anyone else to be a douchebag. I've finished. Everyone carry on with your meme making.

Game called football: Kicks are every now and then, there is no ball, hands are used to carry the "ovoid"

Game called soccer: feet are the main tool, the game happens around a ball, hands are illegal
