Tyler Ford is a queer & agender mixed-race Jewish American writer, voice actor, public speaker, and activist who advocates for transgender and non-binary people.
They originally transitioned to male in college, but later came to identify as agender. When they still identifying as transgender, Tyler became the first transgender contestant on The Glee Project in 2012.
A few years later in 2015, Tyler gained national attention when Miley Cyrus brought them as her date to The Foundation for AIDS Research (AMFAR) gala. Miley sought to raise awareness of people with non-binary gender identities as part of her LGBTQ advocacy work with the Happy Hippie Foundation. Tyler and their friend Ariana Grande joined Miley in that effort.
In 2017, they began voicing a non-binary character named Milo in the animated series Danger & Eggs.
Then in 2018, they gave the opening remarks for the New York Youth Pride parade.
