Back at it again with the metalheads. Not sure how many times I'll be saying I'm unfamiliar with this man, but her drawing is top-notch. The energy and excitement in his facial expression conveys his personality so well. Even for anyone unfamiliar with Tommy Lee, anyone who sees this can see his boyish excitement and unfiltered joy permeating through the page. I mean, even I smiled, not just because of Tommy's contagious smile, but also because of the genuine joy the artist must have felt as she was drawing him, because I know from person experiences that it is easiest to portray and convey concepts one is already familiar with or actively experiencing. This photo is a beacon of love and light. Tommy's love for his life made the artist feel happy as she drew him, which, in turn, made me happy to see such a lovely piece put to paper.
