Ian Macleod, also known as Brutalmoose, is a gay American YouTuber and Twitch streamer.
Ian started YouTube in 2010. He used to be part of a game review guild called Hidden Block and was friendly rivals with caddicarus (who was also a member) as an ongoing joke. His specialty within the group was reviewing retro PC games. Since then, Ian has branched out a bit. Now on YouTube, he makes review content for retro video games, movies, instructional videos, TV shows, and food. He uploads about once a month or once every 2 months, so some patience is definitely needed, but luckily fans can see him on Twitch much more often.
On Twitch, iAN ( Brutalmoose Twitch reference, not a misspelling on my part) plays mainly retro video games and has a reoccurring bingo series where he plays retro video games that correspond with the number drawn. Each bingo ball number drawn gets marked on a bingo card and making a bingo will result in prizes for his audience or help with choosing the next game for a full play-through. Upon making a bingo, viewers are transported to a mini set called the winner's lounge and will have to vote for a door to choose from. Behind each door is a prize. The bingo game season continues until a game is chosen in the winner’s lounge for a full play-through.
Other reoccurring series on Brutalmoose’s Twitch include the Nancy Drew games, Oregon Trail 2&3, Runescape, Sims 1&2, Animal Crossing, Mario Party, Shenmue, Bully, Episode, Putt-putt, Pajama Sam, Freddi Fish, and Fatty Bear (which he plays each year on his birthday). In general, you can expect a lot of retro PC games and console games to be played because iAN is a big fan of retro stuff. He plays the games on retro computers & consoles and even records everything using old equipment which he converts to digital to be more authentic. In addition to that, he plays edited versions of retro/vintage commercials before the stream begins and during intermissions. If you miss a stream or would like to watch for the first time, you can catch his Twitch stream vods on the Youtube channel moose2.
