unfortunately, yes because parents in this day and age give so little shits that they just entertain their kid with mindless garbage all day to not have to deal with them with no love whatsoever, which is one of the reasons why i appreciate what my parents did to me at that age, because their fix for boredom wasnt just attention-span frying garbage all day long, like holy shit the kind of things they have nowadays is like electronic brain eating amoeba
